Assateague island is a 37 mile long barrier island off the coast of Delmarva. Half the island is Maryland and the other half is Virginia. Assateague Island is a nation park offering campsites for visitors who want to stay the night. The most amazing part of Assateague are the 150 wild horses that roam the beaches and campsites. Horses travel in bands basking in the sun and living off the land. Images below are captured on an Iphone 6s, Kodak Cube and edited in Lightroom.
